As a Digital Literacy Mentor for Teachers, you will specialize in coaching fellow educators on how to build a strong digital presence and navigate online career platforms effectively. This pedagogical role focuses on empowering teachers with the skills to succeed in a digital job market.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver engaging workshops and resources for teachers on creating compelling digital profiles and portfolios.
Train teachers on how to effectively use online job portals, including ours, to search for opportunities and submit applications.
Coach teachers on best practices for virtual interviews and digital professional communication.
Create tutorial content (written and video) specifically for a teacher audience on career development technology.
Collect feedback from participating teachers to continuously improve the mentorship program and resources.
Collaborate with the platform team to suggest teacher-centric improvements to the portal’s user experience.
Skill & Experience
You have at least 5 years of teaching experience and a deep understanding of the teaching profession.
You have proven experience in coaching, mentoring, or delivering professional development to other adults.
You have strong digital skills and can articulate tech-related concepts in an accessible, empowering way.
You are an excellent communicator and facilitator, both in-person and online.
You are familiar with the challenges and opportunities teachers face in the modern job market.
